We wrapped up our Spring Equity in Entrepreneurship session recognizing our top three Entrepreneurs, who each received additional seed funding of $3000, $2000 and $1000 in recognition of the exemplary work they did brining their business ideas to life.
It was great having Lynn Kroesen and David Garza-Manahan, of the Hillsborough County Entrepreneurship Collaborative Center join us for an awards event at AMRoC Fab Lab. The Hillsborough ECC is home to 1 Million Cups Tampa, the great program which serves as the capstone project for our Equity in Entrepreneurship program participants.
Our top three entrepreneurs are:
- 1st place – Andrew Zides, with Ample Health
- 2nd place – Frankie Valle, with Esthete Beard & Grooming Company
- 3rd place – Nadina Taylor, with Jesus, Tea & Me
We’re excited for the future of these companies and all our recent small business grads! You can find links to recent and past program graduates’ companies on our Showcase page, where you can help them continue on the road to success by patronizing their great businesses!
If you’d like to take part in our next cohort, starting August 19, check out our FAQ and sign up via our Contact page.
Congratulations again to our amazing Spring 2021 cohort!
With immense gratitude to Truist, the Truist Foundation and Florida Blue for making the FCDI Equity in Entrepreneurship program possible!
