While we’re a little late with this update, it is with great joy and hope for their future that we share our heartiest congratulations to our Fall 2021 graduates! It was a small group, but as diverse in scope and range as any of our previous classes. Not all were able to complete the program this time around, but we think everyone took something of use away from the program and we know all our participants will have bright futures.

Please join us in recognizing and celebrating these great entrepreneurs from our 3rd Equity in Entrepreneurship cohort for completing our fall session with their final 1 Million Cups Tampa presentations and launching their new businesses! You’ll find their business listings on our Showcase page.

Our best wishes, too, to Quiana Norman, with her company, Let’s Grab Life, Sharday Moore and Chris Willingham, who audited the program and continue working to make their business ideas a success.

Thanks to all who help make this program possible, including our sponsors Truist , Florida Blue and GuideWell, and support from great mentors like Tony Selvaggio of eSmart Recycling , Shane Smith of Jim Moran Institute for Global Entrepreneurship , Andy Gold of HCC InLab , Justin Heacock of Florida Southern College. Chris Morancie of Net Synergy Virtual Solutions, Vanessa Ferguson of Ferguson Legal , Pedro Ocasio of Truist and many more.

It is the generous sharing of these experts’ collective time and expertise that makes the Equity in Entrepreneurship program so empowering. Thank you to all for your time and commitment to the nascent entrepreneurs we serve.

Our next cohort will kick off later in the spring of ’22, with an all new format that we hope will even more effectively help build strong new businesses in Uptown and the surrounding area.
